What do you do?

I learned this lesson early on: don’t let a stranger know you work in the film business. On a flight from LA to Miami, the guy sitting next to me struck up a conversation. “What do you do for a living?” That led to five hours of the fifth degree about the business, the last two spent listening to his great idea for a film script.
